From the looks of the lineup—and if there’s one thing to note here, is that this lineup is anything but final—next year’s Cinemalaya is shaping to be another exciting year for the festival. There’s variety to the filmmakers in it, from promising up-and-comers to renowned auteurs. And then there’s Xian Lim, whose filmmaking debut, Tabon, makes its premiere at the festival next year.
