Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Vince Gilligan’s El Camino, the continuation of his widely acclaimed and Emmy award-winning series, Breaking Bad.
The film, which is touted as “a Breaking Bad movie”, picks up after the events of the series finale. Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) has escaped his captors and goes on the run from the authorities.
Previously, we’ve been treated to a mysterious teaser during the Emmys, as well as a clip which features Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) who, persistently, scoffs at his captors and tells them that he will not snitch out Pinkman, even if he knew where he was.
After escaping Jack and his gang, Jesse Pinkman goes on the run from the police and tries to escape his own inner turmoil.
In addition to its Netflix release, El Camino will also screen in U.S. theaters on October 11th (presumably to qualify for the forthcoming Oscars race). AMC, the network that had been home to Breaking Bad, is set to do re-runs of the movie.
