Just in: Netflix Philippines has announced a handful of Filipino titles to jump over the fences of the streaming giant.
According to their press release, there are four Filipino movies to come to Netflix in November of 2018. These include: Jerrold Tarog’s historical biopic, “Heneral Luna”; Erik Matti’s cartel action-thriller, “Buybust”; and Sigrid Andrea Bernardo’s endearing romantic dramedy, “Kita-kita”.
“Beauty and the Bestie” also drops on Netflix later next month. Don’t ask me why.
These films follow Mikhail Red’s critically acclaimed debut, “Birdshot”—the first Filipino film to become available on the streaming platform.
Here’s the full list of Filipino movies on Netflix, premiering this month (and beyond):
More films, including “Praybeyt Benjamin” and “You Changed My Life”, are slated to add to Netflix’s ever-expanding library.
