Second Trailer for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Unveils Man-Made Terror
Universal Studios appears unafraid of spoiling the more thrilling moments from their film, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”. Which is almost always a good sign, meaning that there’s much in store for this sequel even though from the outset it looks like all but a hap-dash attempt at reviving its franchise. The second “Global” trailer has dropped (embedded above), and it features more footage than the dreadful first one.
I grit my teeth. Pray. Brace for impact. Anyway, here’s the synopsis
Four years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinos while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is directed by J.A. Bayona, whose last work is the lush “A Monster Calls”. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jeff Goldblum are set to return, with Sam Niell heavily rumored to make a special appearance. The film opens across Philippine theaters on June 6th, 2018.
