Netflix Makes Surprise Release of “The Cloverfield Paradox” After Superbowl
During the Super Bowl LII, Netflix made a surprise revelation with its premiere of “The Cloverfield Paradox” today.
Netflix reportedly bought “The Cloverfield Paradox”, originally titled “God Particle” from Paramount following the studio’s decision against a theatrical release this April. Judging by the trailer, the film may shed some light on how the mysterious events started in Cloverfield, which ties it as well to 10 Cloverfield Lane. Directed by Julius Onah and produced by J.J. Abrams, “The Cloverfield Paradox” follows a group of international astronauts who are working on a space station to solve a massive energy crisis on Earth. The experimental technology aboard the station has an unexpected result, leaving the team isolated and fighting for their survival.
There are also rumors that the fourth Cloverfield movie is set for release on October.
