Eduardo Roy Jr.’s searing drama, “Lola Igna”, took pretty much all top prizes across the board, including Best Director, Best Actress (for Angie Ferro), Best Musical Score, and Best Screenplay.
Jade Castro’s LSS (Last Song Syndrome) took a handful for its own, too, with Tuesday Vargas bagging the Best Supporting Actress award—on top of its wins for Best Sound Design, Best Original Song, Special Jury Award and PistApp Audience Choice Award.
Meanwhile, the Jean Garcia-starring thriller, Watch Me Kill, took home Best Cinematography. The film’s director, Ty Acierto, known for his Filipino zombie thriller The Grave Bandits, bagged the Best Director award.
