The trailer for Jet Leyco’s forthcoming horror drama, “Second Coming”, is finally here. It previews the story of Bea, played by Jodi Sta. Maria, who marries into the strange family of Paolo, played by Marvin Agustin, whose daughter Imee seems to keep ties with her deceased mother.

The film was originally slated for an October 2018 playdate. It was pushed further back, and today we have confirmation that it’s finally settling on a late February 2019 release.
“Second Coming” isn’t its lead actors’ first foray in horror. Both Sta. Maria had memorable roles respectively in films such as “Cinco” and “‘Wag Kang Lilingon”. As for Leyco, who directed the screenplay written by Brian Gonzalez, he’s no stranger to the weird and spooky (both “Bukas Na Lang Sapagkat Gabi Na” and “Matangtubig” come to mind).
The film is produced by Reality Entertainment, the same outfit that made “Seklusyon” and brought “Hereditary” to the Philippines. Surely, they take their horror seriously.
Jet Leyco’s “Second Coming” opens in Philippine theaters February 27, 2019.
