A handful of character posters have dropped for Irene Villamor’s forthcoming film, Ulan. The film, which TMDb lists as “a coming-of-age film about self-love and self-discovery,” casts Nadine Lustre to what seems like a mystifying drama of love involving ghouls, encantos, and tikbalangs.
The film has recently dropped a 3-minute trailer, which shows Lustre’s Maya and her love interests, played respectively by Carlo Aquino, Marco Gumabao, and AJ Muhlach, and a hex of some sort that ties her heart with the rain.

The new character posters reveal key characters in the film, including Lustre’s Maya, Aquino’s Peter, Gumabao’s Andrew, and others. Curiously, there’s no sign of the Humpty Dumpty-esque character from the trailer.
The film is written and directed by Irene Villamor, whose previous works include Meet Me In St. Gallen and Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story. Perla Bautista, Leo Martinez, and Angeli Bayani also star. The film is produced by VIVA Films.
Ulan opens in theaters across the Philippines come March 13, 2019.
